“It all began on the 24th of November 2022. My consultation with you [Mr Fitton]. The reason why I chose you [Antony Fitton] as my plastic surgeon was due to the many years of working with you in the Freedom Unit at Derriford Hospital.

You are always very professional, yet down to earth – you make your patients feel very comfortable. Your knowledge and skills are truly exceptional, and your desire to please your patients is from the heart.

My surgery day (23rd March 2023) was full of emotions – excited and nervous – but I had every faith and trust in you.  

Surgery went well and I had very little pain. The ward staff were amazing and kept me comfortable and safe. 

My sutures were removed on the 30th of March 2023, again pain-free. My splint was removed on the 5th of April 2023 and it felt really good to have this removed. 

For the next few weeks, I kept looking in the mirror as there was something not quite right with my nose. I wasn’t happy with the outcome; I felt deflated. My nose was huge before surgery, and after surgery, I still felt it was big. 

My next appointment with you [Antony Fitton] on the 27th of April 2023 was when I explained my concerns with a letter to you in fear I would cry if I stated this verbally. You took my concerns on board and we discussed them again on the 9th of August 2023, which we did. 

I had a further appointment with you on the 9th of November 2023 where you agreed to do a revision rhinoplasty. I was extremely grateful to you.

My surgery was planned for the 17th of January 2024, and everything went very well, totally pain-free. I saw you again on the 24th of January 2024 when my sutures and cast were removed. 

I looked in the mirror and WOW!  Straight away I could see a huge difference even though it [my nose] was still swollen.

Over the next few weeks, my nose was painful which was to be expected due to surgery. but I can see how lovely my nose is looking.

My final appointment with you was on the 28th of March 2024. It’s been quite a journey for us both. 

Words cannot begin to express my thanks and gratitude for being part of my rhinoplasty journey. You have given me my confidence back, along with a very natural look. If I had to do this all again, I would choose you as my plastic surgeon.”
