Mr Antony R Fitton qualified at the Royal London Hospital in 1989 with distinction in Surgery. In pursuing a career in surgery he trained at the Royal London Hospital, Addenbrooke’s Hospital, The Royal Marsden Hospital and Charing Cross Hospital.

He obtained his Fellowship to the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1992 and then, after 6 years of accredited training, obtained his Fellowship to the Royal College of Surgeons for Plastic Surgery.

He was then licensed in Plastic Surgery on the specialists register of the General Medical Council.

Antony's specialist areas of work are hand surgery, head and neck surgery, breast reconstruction and aesthetic surgery

About Your Surgeon - Antony Fitton

Antony Fitton is an accredited plastic surgeon with practising privileges at The Nuffield Health Hospital Plymouth and The Duchy Hospital Truro.

 

He aims to provide qualified advice on Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgical Procedures and will endeavour to inform you of the benefits and risks of your options based on your individual needs. He will always allow you time to reflect when considering surgery.

Mr Fitton will always wish to consult his patients before undertaking treatment. He will ask to see his patients on at least two occasions before operating.

Established & Regulated Healthcare

Antony works within established and regulated healthcare environments throughout Devon and Cornwall.

 

He is supported by his personal assistants, Leanne Woodwood and Jessica Summers-Evans, and practices alongside trained nursing and theatre staff. We are all committed to high standards of care centred on the individual needs of our patients.

He offers qualified advice and support for you when deciding on a treatment, will be honest yet sensitive to your needs and will always explain the benefits, implications and risks of your choices.

Antony will expect you to take time out to consider your opportunity for surgery and will expect to host a second consultation for you to ask questions and collate all the information you require ahead of treatment.
