Surgery for Breast Asymmetry

Breast asymmetry is common and varies in severity.

All but the most fortunate patient have some degree of asymmetry which should be regarded as normal.

The type of operations performed for breast asymmetry are numerous and depends on the shape and size of the breasts and position and shape of the nipples.

Quite often one type of procedure such as an augmentation on one breast can be combine with a uplift or reduction, for example, on the other breast.

Subtle hollows or irregularities may be suitable for lipofilling.

Options for breast asymmetry are tailored to individual patients needs and requirements, and can only be determined after a consultation.

Testimonial background
"Thank you so much for seeing me yesterday – I am absolutely delighted with the outcome of the free flap/DIEP reconstruction. The last two years have seen some significant challenges with breast cancer diagnosis, mastectomy (with cannonball) and just getting on with life with anastrazole. However, having a reconstruction which looks and feels like a normal boob has helped hugely to put that well in the past."

"I just wanted to thank you (and your team) for the life-changing result of my top surgery. This will provide me with the freedom that I’m excited to enjoy, including being able to go swimming and actually staying cool in summer! All jokes aside, you have helped to mark a new chapter in my life, for which I am incredibly grateful… ALL the best."

"The transformation is remarkable and I felt I had to write to ask if you would please pass on my sincere thanks to Mr Fitton. His skill and the outcome of my operation has removed the memories of 5 years of embarrassment for me."

Remarkable Skill

Mrs S Patient
"I had been to a few open day consultations before 2019 when I came to Mr Fitton to finally commit to cosmetic surgery. I had strong faith that was the right decision to proceed and following the first surgery in December 2019, that faith was confirmed. Although I did need follow-up surgery to complete the desired outcome, I knew the decision to have cosmetic surgery was the right one and there are no regrets. I am much happier and much more confident and can feel I will continue to gain back confidence as I recover. "
