      Mr Fitton holds a medical degree from the accredited Royal London Hospital with distinction in Surgery. In 2002 he received a degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) for his thesis “Muscle Recover after Nerve Injury – Enhancement by Agonists”.

      After successfully sitting the final intercollegiate examination in Plastic Surgery for the diploma of FRCS (plast)., Mr Fitton was entered onto the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council in 2002. He completed 6-years of accredited training in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.

• • • Residency Training
      In pursuing a career in surgery, he trained at the Royal London Hospital, Addenbrooke’s Hospital, The Royal Marsden Hospital and Charing Cross Hospital, obtaining his Fellowship to the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1992.

• • • Board Certification
      After completing his residency, Mr Fitton become board-certified by passing examinations administered by the relevant boards and organisations responsible for certifying plastic surgeons.

• • • Accreditation and Affiliation
      In 1993 Mr Fitton embarked on his training in Plastic Surgery at the Riverside Centre for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Charing Cross, London and then the Welsh Centre for Burns, Plastic & Reconstructive and Maxillofacial Surgery in Chepstow and Swansea. Mr Fitton also trained in The Mersey Regional Burns, Plastic and Reconstructive Centre in Liverpool.

      Mr Fitton has undertaken research into nerve regeneration, hand and upper limb reconstruction facial anatomy, facial anatomy and reanimation, burns reconstruction and perineal reconstruction. He is relentless in his appetite to continue learning and develop his skills in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.

      We are all about safety. Mr Fitton is a member of BAPRAS (British Association for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons), BAAPS (British Association for Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons), BSSH (British Society for Surgery of the Hand).
